Andalucía Valderrama Masters Golf

The Andalucía Valderrama Masters Golf.

Hosted by Sergio García foundation.

Real Club Valderrama, Sotogrande, Spain.

From October 19th till October 22nd, 2017!

The number one golf course in Continental Europe will stage the Andalucía Valderrama Masters.

The last European Tour stop on European soil.

It was first played in 2010 at the Valderrama Golf Club in Sotogrande, Spain.

It is played at the same location as the former Volvo Masters.

The event did not return until 2017, when it was hosted by 2011 champion Sergio García who had hosted the Spanish Open at the same venue in 2016.

A great golf event for Sotogrande, the exclusive resort in Southern Spain.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., Valderrama made history by becoming the first Spanish course, and first outside Great Britain, to host the Ryder Cup – in 1997.

Previously, the course had been the venue for nine editions of the Volvo Masters (a tournament which later returned to Valderrama until 2008), earning recognition from the top players and leading to its ranking as the number one course in Europe.

Valderrama has also hosted two American Express World Golf Championships (Tiger Woods won in 1999).
